FEDERAL FUNDING

Casa Loma College offers students several options for payment of tuition. All students are encouraged to apply for financial assistance if unable to meet the educational costs on their own. (Nurse Assistant Program applicants are not qualified to apply for Title IV Financial Aid.) Financial aid information and application assistance are provided by the college’s financial aid office to help each student and their family clearly understand their financial situation before entering into a contractual agreement.

Casa Loma College participates in the following financial aid programs and will assist students in evaluating their needs and qualifications for financial aid.

  • CAL Grants A, B, C (available to students who have applied prior to March 2nd)
  • United States Government
  • Department of Education (USDE) Title IV Federal Student Financial Aid Programs
  • Federal Pell Grants
  • Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants (FSEOG)
  • Federal Perkins Loans
  • Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP)
  • Federal Stafford (subsidized and unsubsidized) and additional unsubsidized Stafford Loans; Federal Parent
    Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS);
  • Department of the Army
  • Specialized Training for Army Readiness (STAR)
  • Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Veteran’s Educational Assistance Program

Sallie Mae Loans:
Financing of programs which are a minimum of 1000 hours may also be obtained through Sallie Mae Loans. These loans are based on credit history and debt-to-income ratio. Additional information regarding eligibility requirements, amounts available, interest rates, and repayment schedule is available from the financial aid office.

Financial assistance is available to students of the Nurse Assistant/ Home Health Aide Programs, however due to the short length of the programs and restrictions from the federal government regarding student eligibility Title IV Funds are not available. Students enrolled in these programs may set up a reasonable payment schedule with the financial aid office.
